Preparing for and During the Conference
All registrants should visit the Virtual Conference Hub, where there will be an orange button through which they can access all live and on-demand sessions. Registrants must be logged in to see this button. Recordings of live sessions will be available after the conference.
Every session will be available on-demand within 7-10 business days of the conclusion of the conference for up to five months. Some sessions will be presented with a live moderator and Q&A component. These elements will also be recorded and available on-demand as well.
Don't panic! You will be able to access anything you missed after the conference, as all registrants will receive on-demand access to every session (including live sessions) until February 2021.
There will only be two different "rooms" in which the sessions will take place, and there are no sessions scheduled concurrently. However, some sessions may occur simultaneously if one session is running past its time. If this happens, and you want to view the other session, just switch to the other "room."
All Faculty need to upload their own biography and high resolution profile picture. That can be done here.
Yes! All accepted Abstracts will be available to the public on the Virtual Conference website. Abstracts will not be paywall protected so you can send out the link to your Abstract to colleagues, peers, friends, family, etc.!
BONUS! SVU will be printing all 2020 Abstracts as a supplement to the December 2020 Journal for Vascular Ultrasound (JVU).
After the Conference
A: It’s a two-step process:
During the Virtual Conference, at the end of each ‘block’ of sessions (Thursday AM, Thursday PM, Friday AM, etc ) the Moderator will post a link in the Zoom Chat sidebar. That will link you to an Attendance Survey – a simple yes/no ‘Did you attend these sessions?’…. This is the virtual equivalent of scanning your name badge at the in-person conference.
You will also receive an email in about 7-10 days asking you to complete a Faculty Evaluation. You must complete that evaluation to receive your CME.
YES! The on-demand version of the conference will be available in the ULearn section of the SVU website. You will be able to view the sessions and will need to complete a brief test after each session to earn CME.
Conference sessions will be available for on-demand viewing for up to five months following the conclusion of the conference
