Rayshelle is the Chief Sonographer at Orange PRP Diagnostic Imaging practice in Australia. She began her career in nursing and progressed to Echocardiology. She went on to achieve a Post Graduate Diploma of Applied Science in Medical Ultrasound (General and Vascular) and completed her Masters of Medical Ultrasound, receiving a Deans Award for academic excellence.

Rayshelle has a particular interest in Advanced Vascular Sonography and Research. She is currently undertaking a PhD, which is focussed on research into the postoperative ultrasound surveillance of endovascular aortic grafts. She has recently conducted a clinical trial utilising contrast-enhanced ultrasound. She has presented workshops and lectures at local and national and international meetings. Rayshelle was the winner of the 2011 ASA Rural & Remote Scholarship, 2012 SVU Scholarship, 2012 Society of Vascular Ultrasound Alex Chao Young Investigator’s scientific award for excellence in research and was named the Australian Sonographers Association Researcher of the Year for 2013.

Rayshelle is dedicated to provide high quality Ultrasound and has committed her time to the training and supervision of Sonographers to enhance their level of expertise, especially in the field of Vascular Ultrasound.
